Located in the heart of one of Tampa Bay’s fastest-growing areas, Prosperity Lakes is a master-planned community developed by Lennar, offering upscale living with thoughtfully designed amenities. Among its standout features is a vibrant amenity center with a resort-style, beach-entry swimming pool, a space built for relaxation, recreation, and community connection.
The main attraction at the swimming pool is a 139-foot open-flume waterslide that delivers both visual impact and high-thrill aquatic play. What sets this waterslide apart is its architecturally inspired design, which mimics the modern rooflines and structures of the surrounding community. A winding staircase, integrated within the structure, leads guests to the top of the water slide, making the experience as visually striking as it is fun. The result is a sculptural water feature that blends seamlessly into the overall aesthetic while providing exhilarating aquatic play experiences.
Additional water play elements bring energy and movement to the swimming pool environment. Thirty-two arching ground sprays line both walkways surrounding the swimming pool. In the shallow beach-entry zone, five geysers built into the pool floor provide gentle, bubbling water effects, perfect for families and younger swimmers.
Behind the scenes, AquaWorx also provided the hydraulic equipment and filtration systems that power and sustain this aquatic environment. The waterslide operates with its own dedicated pumping station, consisting of two equipment packs. One pack houses the slide’s high-performance pumps, and the other functions as a reservoir that recirculates water back to the slide at a flow rate of 600 gallons per minute. For the swimming pool itself, the filtration system utilizes DE filtration equipment, ensuring superior water clarity and efficient particle removal.
This impressive aquatic play amenity was made possible through a collaborative effort between Florida Aquatics, the pool builder, and AquaWorx, the commercial waterslide manufacturer and filtration equipment provider. Together, our team created a modern aquatic destination that reflects the community’s upscale design standards while offering fun and functionality for residents of all ages.
